Ladies having a blast at our last Bink-A-Thon in April

Oct 23 - Make blankets for kids in need.

Hands On Portland and Binky Patrol Comforting Covers for Kids are joining forces again to make a ton of blankets for children, teens and families in need.

Event will be held Saturday, October 23 on National Make a Difference Day. Location is at Holy Trinity Catholic Church on Walker Road in Beaverton, OR. TIme is from 9 - 3.

Non-sewers are welcome to sign up to help cut fabric, pin blankets together and bundle them up. Bring scissors, rotary cutters, cutting mats and your heart.

Those with sewing machines, bring your machine, scissors and supplies to make a ton of blankets. Binky Patrol is supplying the fabric thanks to a generous donation from Dennis Uniform Company. Plaid, khaki and navy are the colors of the day.

Sign up through Hands-On Portland! We need sewers and non sewers, children welcome as long as they help!

Sorry I missed these comments - This is going to be a blast! Consider joining us - dust off the machine, bring your scissors and your hearts - we need you! We give to children everywhere, but most of our chapters focus on their local needs first.
