We watched the ocean through the pouring rain from the balcony on Saturday.
We went there to dig clams, but the storm was so intense on Saturday you couldn't stand up straight much less fight the waves, carry a bucket and try to dig a clam!

Well if the wind is from the south, then go dig by Beard's Hollow, the rock will protect from the wind. As for the ocean, just hope it isn't a NW swell, LOL. Someone got theirs in 10 min at Beard's Hollow.

If you don't get clams at least you had a front row seat for dramatic weather, sounds fun.

Too bad about the clamming - Beard's Hollow is a great suggestion to learning how to clam in the weather. Personally, I love a good storm at the coast and just would-of went with plan B - storm party! Or got some anyway - just so I could brag!
