People from this area just do not know how fast weather can change here. And this is what Kills. Just yesterday, Mount aint hellens was covered in a bown blanket.

Now it has a new blanket of white in less then 24 hours.

You really need to pay head to weather while in the mountains be it driving in your car or hiking or you will become a statstic.
