I was standing outside with my neighbor, talking about how windy it was... we heard this "CRACK" and my neighbor said, "that was your tree". Sure enough, I looked over and saw half of the tree was on the ground! Funny thing was we were just discussing having them trimmed to prevent them from breaking this winter!

Ok, I see your problem. The tree was growing perpendicular to the ground. This was inevitable. Nice grass wall, though.
