Cougar shot in Trout Lake, WA

This MALE cougar was shot by a Battleground hunter in the small town of Trout Lake, WA. He was hunting for deer when he found himself being hunted by a cougar and took his shot at the animal as it came too close for comfort. He has all his tags needed for hunting including a cougar tag. He had to shoot the cougar twice before it fell to rest.

He shot this cougar on Martin Road in Trout Lake, WA at approx 1pm on Sunday October 27,2007, not far from the down town area. Though the cougar hadn't been a known threat he was seen often in local back yards

What a beautiful animale, seem's such a shame they have to kill him. Someday we can walk with them without being in danger, {in heaven}.

So you can justify killing our beautiful wildlife. I agree: Sounds like he just wanted to shoot a cougar.
