Great to wake up and use your friends truck you borrowed and it sounds like a boat engine being fired up. Friggin' crack addicts. Why doesn't someone go after the metal salvage people.

I have to agree for the metal thieves - I'm ready to support Islamic law for theft...! Catalytic converters, playground equipment, statues, phone lines... Cut off their (right) hand!

Happened to us too using the MAX station at the Expo Center. So frustrating and expensive.

Why doesn't someone go after the metal salvage people? Is this industry so hard to regulate in Oregon. Seems there are fewer of them than pawn shops. It really shouldn't be that hard. how about etching your name in the C.C?

It's not the scrap metal recyclers, it's these guys doing business on the corners, running a business out of the back of there trucks, and the city of portland has done nothing to shut them down. Why don't you ask portland police they know about it.

where are these guys buying c.c's out of a truck on the corner. ? come on, Its the greed of the scrap industry and the ongoing addiction to meth that is the perpetrator here. Not some mysterious platnum pusher hanging around by the grade school.
