My Austrian mother always made a few loaves of her traditional German Stollen. She passed on Nov.6th, so I attempted making them this year. She must have been helping me, because they turned out great...delicious and moist, just as her's had been. And of course...Lucy waiting to help herself to a nibble.

And she did "has" her share LOL Put the citron aside in a little pile and ate the crumblys and the rum soaked raisings :) She's a smart little puttie ::grin::
