MULTNOMAH FALLS, Ore.—A single car crash blocked one lane of Interstate 84 near a popular tourist attraction in the Columbia River Gorge on Thursday.
A four-door station wagon apparently struck a guardrail on the I-84 eastbound lane at the Multnomah Falls exit at milepost 31, scattering debris and blocking the right eastbound lane.
A semi truck partially barricaded the right lane, directing the eastbound traffic to move to the left lane to get around the crash.
The cause of the crash and the condition of the vehicle occupant or occupants are not known. The front end of the car was damaged.
There were no emergency vehicle at the scene around 11:30 a.m., however, Oregon Department of Transportation work vehicles did arrive around that time to assist.
