This is a picture I took of my mom and dad in Jan or Feb of 1957. They are standing ON the Columbia River along side of our boat (the Tyee) at Tyee Yatch Club. This is located at 33rd and Marine Dr. They are about 200 yds from the shore. The river was frozen to about 400 yds from the shore.
