While all of you in Portland and the valley were battling floods, this is what I got to enjoy tonight. Sorry if I'm gloating a little but I lived on the west side of the mountains for most of my life and it's kind of nice to not deal with the flooding and slides.

I hate the Lake Billy area..I'll take my floods and wet weather to have beautiful green grass,Douglas firs, and gorgoeus spring and summer foliage..

Don't matter. They stick it to you in property taxes and income taxes and assorted fees...You get shafted financially still.

Ya, beautiful, but flash flooding happens there too! Different but not good! Wishing you well, and many more beautiful sunsets- wish I was there!
