Budget Travel is running a contest for the Coolest Small Town in America. Astoria has been running neck & neck against Lewisburg West Virginia. This has become a West coast Vs East coast battle and Astoria needs Portland's help. Lewisburg is a smaller community than Astoria but it has a much higher surrounding population base. Don't vote for Astoria, thats all we need, more attention to draw retires to the area that have time on their hands to protest any and everyhting that could bring jobs to the area,

Astoria is the oldest city west of the rocky mountains. it celebrates its 200th birthday 2011, this year. the state of oregon was 150 in 2009! Vote for Astoria !!!!
