I live in Mist, elevation is ~600 ft, I'm a little higher as I'm on a hill. Watched the news this morning and Rhonda said snow above 1200 ft, I also noticed that the Vernonia schools weren't mentioned so thought maybe the farther southeast I went it may get better. When I got up @ 5 there was just a bit of slush on the deck, we've had snow everyday since last Tue. but I also clear the deck everyday. By 7 when I decided to leave it was 3+" on the deck, about 6" in the yard (accumulated). As you can see my driveway has quite a bit, yesterday there were 2 clear tracks and the jnct of hwy's 202 and 47 is basically 1 track down the center of the road. Needless to say I went back home but got stuck on the hill going back up to the house, I figured I'd leave it there until the thaw came later in the day but it hasn't stopped snowing since 5 this morning so I think I'll get the tractor out and pull it back up to the house.
Above 1200' huh?
