I walked out to my back yard and spotted this peregrine falcon (correct me if I'm wrong) eating what appeared to be a small bird. So I ran inside and took some pictures. Here are the results.

It is a young, red tailed hawk,,very prevalent in Oregon

Nice pic, but this is a juvenile Cooper's Hawk. This is very typical behavior for this bird, but it's not an Osprey or Peregrine.

Not a peregrine, but other than that I don't know. There are a lot of raptors that look very similar and I don't know enough about them to say which one it is.

Doesn't look like a peregrine. Doesn't really look like an immature osprey. Except for the eyes, looks like a merlin.
