The red squares caused it? They are the biggest... I can't see how the small blue squares would have had enough mass to do the quake.

My friend just posted on Facebook that she lost power along with 3,000 buildings in her area and she is on tsunami alert. I believe she is in Tokyo right now.

There have been 23 aftershocks so far after the 8.9 magnitude quake, 7.1 magnitude was the biggest according to USGS. USGS states that the primary quake was 8.9 and Geologists in japan say the quake topped out at 8.8 there.

The quake has been upgraded to a 9.0 now.

There is now 474 quakes, not tremors, at and around the location of the 9.0 quake. (Upgraded to a 9.0 around 2 AM this morning March 15th) and counting!
