I was driving through a storm that hit this afternoon on hwy 26. The rain was pounding down, debris was flying every where. Tree's were falling down. Finally the traffic came to a stop. Waited for an hour in traffic before it started moving not knowing what was ahead. A tree had fallen down across hwy 26 about 3 miles east of shortys corner. Power was out from zig zag to gresham. Thought I had just drove through a tornado.
Was it a Tornado I just drove through?

I'm glad someone else thinks it was a tornado. Downed trees and branches were everywhere like I'd never seen in this area.

I'd almost compare it to the Midwest "Frog Drowners" we'd get every so often. Intense storms in a small area and massive rain and wind. This was pretty close.

I was outside when it hit. Was trying to get the horses in because I'd seen it coming on the radar. Had to hang onto the barn wall. you could feel the pressure drop and the wind and rain made it hard to breath. Didn't last long, but it was intense

No way the Emergency Broadcast Alert would have went off and told us about this we would have been Tornado Warned about it
