I just purchased this 1979 1/2 and yes this is a real year for this LTD Ranchero.

Talk about a Sticker Shock.. Do you rememeber when Car manufactures Offered Infant carriers and Tot-Guards?

Infant carriers were only $21.00 and Tot Guards ( a device that encompassed the the child around there legs and kept them seated (would be nice for extremely unruly kids in the car) for $36.00.
Now todays car seats range from $60- $130.
How is that for costs of todays economy? Since 1979 things have went up dramatically.
