I took this picture of a humming bird at my front porch feeder this last Sunday. I was hoping to see one after the long winter and there he was. They have a way of lifting your spirit. They are amazing animals. So small and yet they survive the harshness of life.

I keep my feeders full all winter and get them year around. They're so much fun to watch! If they only knew they could outrun me, they might let me get a bit closer. As it is I have to depend on a zoom lens.

We keep our feeders full all year as well, there isnt a day that goes by that we dont have at least one stopping by! Such beautiful birds

We have these Humming birds all winter long and now increasing in numbers for spring in Aloha. Very cool birds.
