82nd Public Storage Massive Fire

Arrived just after the fire trucks got heavy into fighting this blaze. several explosions were heard as well and police moved back bystanders by 2 blocks and started notifying residents to get ready to leave it they asked them to. Fire houses responding include the 100 year old Engine 19 74th and burnside who just had their 100th birthday today.

The owners are jerks anyway and rip poor people off for storing there stuff there, I hope nobody lost anything of real value

My storage is there and I was notified that it was not my unit thank the goddess I do feel sorry for those who did lose things

manager is really nice, they have treated us fairly. we are in the building affected by the fire and have lost a lot of vintage and antique and more sadly sentimental keepsakes. We are waiting to get in to see if anything can be save

I hope no one lost anything of great value. My neighbors just lost there home and everything in it. All seven of them made it out alive. Most items can be replaced, a life can not. I also hope the owners can afford to fix there loss..
