Hope this makes air for this evenings news!
From 2:45 to 3:15 a thunderstorm came down hard, producing a lot of hail making the surrounding area look like a winter wonderland. These pictures were taken from my townhome next to I5 and 217. The storm slowed traffic down on I5 but no incidences that I noticed. Also the thunder freaked our cats out but otherwise very fun to watch.
