Took these pics of my boy Daniel, who was excited to go out in and see the hail this evening. He's 4 and a half years old. We live almost exactly on the 45th parallell -- half way between the North Pole and the Equator. We're on the valley floor, too. These are pics of hail, not snow. You can see that it accumlated like a small snow drift along our fence.
