McMINNVILLE, Ore.- An Evergreen Aviation Boeing 747-100 cargo jet gets a new life as Evergreen Wings & Waves Waterpark attraction with two waterslides out of the aircraft.
The waterpark is scheduled to open in June 2011.

You're alright! Actually, older aircraft like the DC-3 still use port and starboard on their gauges, I believe. One time as a joke I was working on an airplane and I labeled all the parts port and starboard. We still use fore and aft, though!

That would be the passenger side of the aircraft. The driver side is shown in the photo. ;-)

Alright. It's the passenger side of the aircraft. I can clearly see the slides on the driver side. ;-)

Can't wait to see this place open. I mean, I haven't been to a water park in about a decade, but I'd check this one out. Heck, I could fly myself to this one!

You'll be happy to know that generally in modern aviation we call it the right side. Leave the port and starboard to the sailors :-).

Oops! There are more than two slides. I didn't see the slides on the starboard (right) side of the plane.
