It is a little known fact the Virgal Earp, brother of Wyatte, is buried it in Portland. Here is his Grave Stone.

He's buried here because his long-lost daughter was living in Portland in 1905 when Virgil died.

Virgil visited Portland and would ride the trolly on Mcadam. His daughter lived in Portland and when Virgil died had his body shipped to Portland for burial. Lots of books written about the brothers, Wyatt moved TO SF never visited Portland

Virgil was deputy sheriff in Goldfield, NV around 1904 when he died of pneumonia. His daughter, remarried and now Nellie Jane Bohn, sent for his remains and brought to Portland where she buried him up at River View.
