Driving home this afternoon about 2:30 pm I was admiring this wonderful 70 degree day that has been so rare in 2011! But as I looked West towards where we live outside of McMinnville I noticed this huge dark cloud right over the hill we live on. It was very eerie as there was absolutely no other dark clouds around, so bizarre.
We had this strange weather for about an hour with actual thunder which I could hardly believe on this beautiful Spring Day! My older son who was out for a walk came in and couldn't believe it either! Anyway, we looked at the doppler radar and my daughter took a snapshot of what it looked like here at that moment. Amazing!
Later there were these strange gigantic cottonball type clouds above us which I hadn't seen anything like since being in a tornado warning in the Midwest part of the country once.
Odd weather! Go away and don't come back some other day.
