This has been a safety hazard for a long time with no warning sign or barricade. If this was by the Washington County Courthouse or the Washington County Sheriff's Office it would have been barricaded the first day and fixed right away. I would like to see other areas of Hillsboro get equal attention when it comes to maintenance. This particular hazard has been, and continues to be, ignored. It is an accident and possibly a lawsuit waiting to happen.
Accident waiting to happen.

As you suggested I have contacted Public Works and alerted them.

It's possible that those who live on the street have not told Public Works that there is a problem. If no one in public works or City Goverment lives on this street, perhaps they are not aware. Has anyone contacted the City about it, at all?

Multnomah County is just as bad. It took them over a year to patch a major pothole in front of my house. And a couple of weeks ago I cleaned out the storm drain near the same location that was completely filled with mud and overgrown with grass.

Contact the Hillsboro city works and they should fix it. Mention law suit and they will be on it ASAP.
