Forward Stride, a non-profit organization located in Wilsonville, is Portland's only comprehensive nationally accredited therapeutic riding center. We offer hippotherapy (hippo=horse in greek) and therapeutic riding for children and adults from the age of 3 to 95. We also have regular sport riding and vaulting lessons (vaulting is gymnastics on horseback).
We have been looking for a new location for a few years. Lucky for us, we have found a new home and are signing our lease this week but need to move our entire organization and herd over the next 3 weeks. As a non-profit, volunteers are integral in our success. We are looking for service groups (churches, boy scouts, etc.) to come help us accomplish our goal.
