I adopted Merlin when he was a pup.
My brother's dog, Patches had pups 5 years ago and merlin chose me.
It was a relationship made in heaven.
Oh we went through the typical puppy training stages and there were a few pupy accednts but after reading a few things about puppies and how small there bladders are, potty training was made easy after reading that Puppies need to go every hour and soon Merlin was giving that look. he never barked, never yelped, he just sat at the door and "pointed" to his leash.
When I mean points, He literally lifts his paw and points to his leash.
Now, If we ignore him , he will pick it up and bring it to me OR he will toss it at me.
Yes, you heard right, he will litterally toss it at me.
He also tosses other things as well when he plays he Loves tossing his treats around too lol.
Merlin is a mighty dog in many other ways.
He helps me with my PTSD, Has protected me when my older car's timing belt failed,
and a great deal more.
He is my canine companion and my best friend and he to me is "Truly a mighty canine companion."
Oh in case you are curious on the breed of dog that Merlin is,
he is a Shepradore. Half Shepherd half Labrador
I hope that you and your mighty pet can come and join us in the
"Mighty Pet Contest"
