In Goldendale, WA we (David and JEnna) have a view of MT ADAMS but we can't see because of all the fires. One just started at a state park between Goldendale and Toppenish, WA on HWY 97. A mans brakes were burning and thats what we heard how the fire started. Now look at the fire. THese three pictures show how bad the fire got. WE can smell the fire from our house and the wind doesnt help the fire at all. Oh the name of the s tate park is Brooks State park. Close to there. We get the Portland news and this is the only news channel we watch. Thanks!

Here again asking if anyone knows how close this fire is to Old Mountain Road. My brother lives 3 miles up, he's there now but I'm unable to reach him by cell. I can't seem to find a good map of the actual area burning in adjacent to his area.

Well, I've not had a response here from anyone about the Old Mountain Road area 13 miles out of Goldendale. But, my brother say's a sheriff came by and gave him info about a possible evac. And to be prepared.

Our place is on Grady Lane at the East end of Box Canyon. Any word on how far out it's spread? I'm at the Oregon Coast and would appreciate any news. Thanks again for your reporting and picture.

We have property on the East end of Box Canyon Rd. We are hearing it hasn't gotten that far yet and the neighbors up there are on stand by. If anyone has information, please post. Land lines are down and cells are sometimes hard to have connection.
