Today 11/16/2011 While out for a walk in Lake Oswego this morning I came across several women pounding stakes into the ground. One of the women that I spoke to answering my question of what was it that they were doing...told me Gavin Colson an Oregon Vet was returning home tonight. They were putting up American Flags to honor his homecoming. Susan, one of the Mother's and her son is best friends with Gavin Colson. I asked permission to film with my Iphone such a wonderful story of Mom's out in the rain and wanting to honor one of our returning vets by lining the streets with flags for one of our son's. Judi Colson is the mother of 22 year old Gavin who is coming home tonight. Gavin was injured about this time last year when in the Hummer. One of the Mother's is from a Scout group that puts up flags but since the children were in school the Mom's did it for them.

Gavin: Welcome home, soldier! We are very proud of you. The flags your mom and the others put up was about the best thing I have seen in a long time. Have a wonderful visit!
