The city of Portland has bought a piece of property in the middle of a residential area and plans on building a sewer pump station right behind me!! Then he lands on my fence in the middle of the day so sad to think they will be cutting down his home

Barred owls are the new number 1 threat to spotted owls, so much so biologist have proposed removing them.

Whitehawk, on a certain level I agree, but the flipside is this what I have a guy come run a bulldozer through your home? How would that be for you. You will just find another place to live right?

Sounds like they need to preserve "his" land and home first, not take it over like we humans have all over the world, and we all wonder why animals are going extinct.......

You can help by putting up an owl box in a nearby tree. Barred Owls are not as particular as other owls. Good Luck.
