So...we downsized to an apartment. Ground floor. Only for the next year. But....have we made a mistake? We haven't rented since 1971, but who knew to ask about flooding? This is right off our postage sized patio along 242nd. Certainly hope it stays where it's supposed. Not in our living room :(

I got renters insurance the day we moved in. And what would the alternative be to renting an apartment?? i owned a house for many years, and the first 5 we flooded...every winter.

Well your first mistake is renting an apartment. ^^ And whoever said you don't have to pay for the damage... LOL MAYBE, as long as you have renter's insurance. If you don't, you should get it a.s.a.p.

Yeah...but "puddles" have a way of getting bigger and get inside. We've been there and done that....with "puddles" much smaller than these.
