Two seniors at Scappoose High School decicded to use their interests and talents for a worthy cause. After hearing about all the flood victims in Columbia county, they decided to see if they could do something to help. They are putting on a benefit concert. Using local talent for a local cause the boys are hosting a five hour benefit on January 12, from 6-11:00 pm. It will be held at The Olde School in St. Helens, Oregon. Cost is a $10.00 donation. Acts will range from acoustic to rap, christian to country. Teenage to adults, and everything in between. These boys have put a huge amount of effort, time and heart into this concert. But then again, they are from Scappoose, the town with a heart.

I'm excited for this event! It sounds like a great evening of music for a great cause. Kudos.
