Gazebo Roof Colaps from Snow/Rain

Madaga Gazebo Colaps from Snow & Rain

We had this Gazebo in Portland, and it survived 4 winters of Snowfall. Not so this year in Astoria. Last night we had about 4 inches at our altitude, followed by a bit of warm rain. The weight of the moisture on the roof was a bit too much, and it completely collapsed.

I have the same Gazebo, I live in Southern California and it never snow where I live, until this winter. I had 6". Well my gazebo did not hold up very well to the snow and the roof colapsed. I am now looking for replacement parts for the roofs frame.

A couple of years ago, we had the same problem. We just went to the local hardware store and bought water tubbing (I think 1") and a black spray paint. It took us one afternoon to do-it-yourself project. Now, we enjoy it even more.
