Heading back to my car after shopping for groceries at the Andresen Winco in Vancouver I see this Diamond Roofing and Construction truck parked in the wheelchair access between disabled parking places. The truck was parked so close to the red car that a person with a cane or wheelchair wouldn't be able to get into their vehicle.
Being that it was busy, rainy Sunday afternoon I can understand the desire to park as close to the entrance as possible, however that's no excuse to choose not to obey the law and to ignore even the most basic common courtesy... all to buy BEER!
Buying beer at Winco

Ya, I woulda called 911 and reported it... You might call Vancouver PD and send them the photos, not sure if they could then cite them or not, but could send a nice letter informing them of the crime.... :-)

Whoever took this photo is looking for something to cry about instantly, this isn't a handicapped parking, yet a reserved parking for construaction works doing the building, will somebody give this photographer a milk bottle, gotta shut'em up

YES he is an as* for parking there. as long as the contractor doesn't plan on drinking while he is working or drinking and driving,i don't see the problem. big deal he got beer! shame on you for trying to make the situation worse than it already is!

It is too bad when jerks post a photo like this. If it is the biz owner's truck then ok, odds are it is some employee of the biz. It is not like the company has a policy to park in handicap spots. BTW I have no affiliation to them.

REALLY??? What in the hell does it matter what they bought or what they did, IDIOTS??? Stupid is stupid! They had no handicap placard. No placard, No parking....duh. If you don't know that then keep your stupid ars at home,REALLY!!!

Most roofers I've met weren't the sharpest tools in the shed. This one is obviously no exception.

Tubby: do you think the report would not be correct, they were buying beer, that is if you had not drank all of it, use your head, & look at the facts, the idiot was parked illegally, the cross hatched area is for wheelchair only.
says ... on Sunday, Jan 22 at 9:33 PM
How do you know they where buying beer?
says ... on Sunday, Jan 22 at 9:29 PM
If the driver had not drunk all the beer before going to Winco for beer then the driver would not have had to go to Winco to by more beer!

I drive a wheel chair van for a living and I have parked behind idiots like this to block them in! They never get away without a least a verbal lashing and if they give me any grief about it, I do call the cops!
says ... on Sunday, Jan 22 at 9:24 PM
The website address is not good. The must not make enughf money to pay to have it hosted. What lazy loosers!

SurfLife; Cannot believe your comment, seems to me you should have a handi-cap permit, & I do hope you do not need one, my son is in a wheelchair and I have seen him parking at the end of the lot because of idiots like this
says ... on Sunday, Jan 22 at 9:11 PM
SurfLife; Appreciate your comments, but if they were working on the roof why would they be parked in the parking lot, and what do they need the beer for, to plug the leek, and if the worker is Handi-capped, what are they doing on a roof.
says ... on Sunday, Jan 22 at 9:08 PM
I forgot: we're actively looking to have our roof replaced, guess which company we won't call for an estimate!!

Just wonderful, I'm surprised all the tires are not flat! I used to do the handicapped patrol, that would definitely receive a ticket. We did find one woman using a deceased friends hang tag once, that was another good one!
says ... on Sunday, Jan 22 at 8:59 PM
If the truck had a disabled tag they should know better than to park in the cross hatched area, that is for wheel chair access, must not be that disabled if they have ladders on the truck, maybe they have a mental handi-cap

Diamond Roofing - what stupid looks like.
says ... on Sunday, Jan 22 at 8:56 PM
You should have parked behind them and called the police, there is a very heavy fine for doing things this stupid, by the way did you see the driver, please let all know, company I see is from Portland, lets use Wa based companies for our roofing.
says ... on Sunday, Jan 22 at 8:43 PM
How do you know so much about this company /Worker? Maybe they were working on the roof?
says ... on Sunday, Jan 22 at 8:25 PM
And the city stopped the handi-capped parking enforcement, which was made up of volunteer persons, I offered to join forces with this group but it was stated that the city no longer had the funds, funds for what, to pay some political creep $$$
says ... on Sunday, Jan 22 at 8:22 PM
Did you call the police? Did you see the beer?
says ... on Sunday, Jan 22 at 8:02 PM
I can't believe someone with the name of their company on their truck would do something like that.
