Can you identify this dragonfly?

I know this is'nt a winter story but I was looking over some pictures I took this last summer and I found this picture of a dragonfly. I have looked in the Audubon Field Guide to North American Insects and Spiders but I can't find it. The picture was taken at a local pond. Can you identify it?
