It's really too bad. It was a great place ten years ago, then the prices started climbing. I frequent Pacific City but haven't been to the Pelican in more than five years. It used to be a regular part of my weekends down there.

This person who owns the pub thinks that with money you can get anything they want. the prices go up at the pub,for no good reason. other than they are the only game in town. I have gone to the pub in the past, but no more.

I used to Love the Pelican till I heard they were owned by the same outfit as the Inn and trying to make all the parking over there private. If successful they would effectively close public access to the beach and ended Dory fishing right there.
