This is a pic of my favorite fishing buddy, after he caught his 30 lb Chinook Salmon (Springer) on April 22, 2012! This is the biggest Springer we have ever brought into our boat!!! Too bad we couldn't catch it on Derby Day!! LOTS of fish to eat! Just wanted to share....as this is a BIG Springer!

Nice fish and a good fishing buddy can't be beat! In Canada they call a 30# Spring a Tyee. I never caught one so big, my best was 22# and that was a fight! 25# test against a rip tide from the shore. My reel spun nearly down on the first run.

Can't believe I forgot to write his name,.....This is a pic of Dick Pfau....he has the record in our neighborhood for the MOST salmon caught last year & this year so far too! :-) FUN TIMES!
