We live on the side of Cooper Mountain in Aloha, and today while sitting in my home office a turkey vulture landed on the chimney of the home next door. I took my camera out onto a balcony out side of my office and began taking pictures. The vulture sunned himself for a while, then flew down circling our cul-de-sac at about 3 or 4 feet from the ground, then went up onto the house on the other side of my neighbor's. Then it repeated the fly over and returned to the chimney. After a few minutes, it dropped down onto the roof, walked across the roof to the edge. After looking over the edge of the roof for a while, it flew down into the garden, picked something up, flew back to the roof for a moment, then flew off down into the forest.
