around 9 pm we discovered a 4 to 5 foot ball python in one of the parking spaces in the rockwood station apartments parking spaces...although the animal did appear to be dead it was coiled up and just there..we still have discovered if someone had placed it there or if the owner had let it loose and it was just to cold or sick and died....scary stuff when it was only a few feet from everyones front doors and right out in the open... maybe 2 feet from where my car was parked...we seen the recent report of the snake, kittens and hamster and thought it an odd coincendence that another python was located in the portland area..

Ball pythons are everywhere as pets. You can buy them at Petco for $80. It's not at all a rare thing. It's probably someone's pet that got out and was killed.

And that's sad. I'm not a fan of snakes...but I love animals....any kind, and yes, even a snake has a soul as far as I'm concerned. It grieves me to know this creature died away from the comfort (I hope) of it's terrarium (sic), alone.
