I was upstairs,my window faced opposite of beautiful sky, only noticed that the sky had a weird glow. But then going outside to the front, had to run back in the house to get my camera. So glad I did, it was only about 2-3 min. before the lighting show-then started slowly with soft rain.The smells filled the air, So grateful.
Sky was so golden from the north, it drew my attention to go outside to see the storm to come.

Out, working in my garden, marveling at the golden sky. I decided to plant my watermelon and squash seeds as the lightening flashed the count was 6 miles away by the thunder then 4 miles - finally finished by the time I didn't have any more seconds!
