Cub Scouts Honor Fallen Deputy

Salem area Cub Scouts were attending Camp Nee Deep this week when they were informed that the funeral procession of Deputy Chapman would be passing by the park where camp was held. All of the Scouts and staff lined up along the road to pay tribute to the fallen officer. The fire station next to the park also lined up their equipment, lights flashing, and hung a large flag directly over the road. As the procession passed, the scouts, leaders, and firemen saluted to honor Deputy Chapman and his fellow officers.
