This is a view of the August 1, 2012 Sturgeon Moon as it rises above Mt. Hood. As seen from our deck in Camas, the moon appears as a "light globe" atop the mountain. We are seldom offered the opportunity to capture the beauty of a full moon in such a perfect setting.
