DALTON POINT NEAR BRIDAL VEIL, Ore. - The setting sun provides a warm backlight, emphasizing this rain squall's ominous appearance as it passes over the Columbia River Gorge near Rooster Rock State Park late this afternoon.

(Dalton Point is located along Interstate 84 two miles west of Multnomah Falls, and is accessible only from the westbound lanes.)
