Chef Eric Hong's Sushi demonstration

Something's happening at The Pearl!

Coming up with creative new ideas for entertaining residents is a constant for Activity Directors in all retirement facilities. Kyle Williams and myself teamed up with our Culinary Director, Barbara Baker, to create "An Afternoon of Culinary Arts". Every Tuesday our Residents at The Pearl at Kruse Way (A memory care / skilled rehab facility) are treated to an exciting culinary demonstration by our skilled chefs. (The attached photos show our recent Sushi demonstration) April 29th we will be presenting an Art Show featuring local artist Berle Bledsoe (2 time peoples choice winner at the Lake Oswego Art Festival & my dad) along side our Residents artwork. This will coincide with the Culinary Department pulling out all the stops on an incredible Wine & Cheese Tasting. The public is welcome and any publicity you could give this little ol' Activity Director would be greatly appreciated!
