Grant Watts School auction in Scappoose

We are back! Mark your calendars & bring a friend. It’s time again for the Grant Watts Parent Organization’s 12th Annual Spring Auction and Fundraiser. This Saturday in Scappoose, OR.

Over 300 donated items are currently on this year’s auction list.

We have thousands of dollars in gift certificates to statewide eateries, salons, services, attractions and retail establishments, hunting gear, guided fishing trips, specialty baskets, tools and BBQ’s. Additionally there several hand made fineries from a variety of artists.

Grant Watts’ students have put forth their best skill to make special baskets, donated by each classroom, that follow certain themes such as Chocolate Lovers, Camping Fun, Sports and Fitness, and Family Game Night. Additionally each class prepares a class project for auction ranging from Hand Painted Strawberry Pots, Student Decorated Memory Boxes, Student Self Portraits, and one-of-a-kind Ceramic Clocks. Most certainly you can find something for everybody on this year’s auction list!

This year’s auction will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2008. Doors open at 5 PM, starting with 3 silent auctions. Oral auction begins at 7PM. Master of Ceremonies will be Dan Bush from Bartholomew Productions. There will be raffles and door prizes, as well as on-site childcare in which proceeds will benefit the Middle School Washington DC 2008 Trip. Admittance is free.
