Hear Ice Crack as it Expands

The image is not importnace but the sound is this is how cold it was On January 11, 2013.

I was out side with the camera and happend to hear a strange cracking sound coming from our Son's Play House. It had some water in it from the rains of yesterday.

I heard the cracking sound and pulled the cam out Not sure if the mics would pick up on this or not.
It happened that they did.
The result is the expaning Water as it hardens into Ice. As Ice crystals Form water is expanded creating stress the stress fractures and re freezes.
Well, I think.
At any rate it is a pretty "cool Phenomena".
