High Desert Snow Fall 2013

John Day in the high desert of eastern Oregon gets little rain in the spring and little snow in the winter. The John Day valley is dry. Weather patterns seem to go north and south of the valley. This weeks snow storm came right down the valley for what should be a record breaking snow fall for the area. enjoy the photos taken by Sherri Dowdy
