On the stump for Senator Hillary Clinton, former President Bill Clinton spoke to an appreciative audience today in Scappoose. Drawing intermittent applause and murmurs of agreement while speaking about health care, education, and the economy, President Clinton elicited the greatest response from this crowd of a few hundred people when talking about the development of alternative energy, the unreasonable costs of contracting with Blackwater, and ending the U.S. occupation of Iraq.
