Multiple exposures of Asteroid 2012 DA 14 taken Feb 15, 2013 just a few hours after its closest approach to Earth from 8:31 to 8:36 PM PST. I used an 11 inch, f/10 Celestron Schmidt Cassegrain telescope with a Nikon D7000 camera at prime focus. 3-second exposures at ISO 4000 every 15 seconds. Asteroid was around 134,000 miles away and magnitude 12.5. Taken from Vancouver, WA by Steve Lantz.
