Channel: Weather & Scenery

Location: NE Vancouver, WA.

This was the scene tonight about 9:30 in NE Vancouver, along 162nd Ave, as thunderstorms deluged the storm drains, and caused instant flooding. Local police were quick to close roads, and re-direct traffic, although many motorists were forced to power through water standing nearly two feet deep in some spots. At NE 8th & 162nd Ave, in front of the Grange Hall, water was pouring up onto the road from a storm drain, completely covering the median and flooding the road over the sidewalks.
