Integrated Public Alert & Warning System

How well do you know your tech.

Possible future event :
I was out driving around and then IPAWS sent a severe weather alert. I then went to the nearest shelter to volunteer
the government had special APPS in which we When we were fitted with an RFID bracelet, they could be scanned using special software using NFC Protocols to track us in where we were at , where we we are going and what we are doing.

did what I jsut write make sense, If so then congrats, you know your device, if you didn't understand what I wrote then maybe you need to learn that our devices of today have a great deal in the software and hard ware capabilities of you Device(s).

No longer are today’s Cell phones Just Phones, they are Micro Computing devices capable of some amazing things and some of which can be down right scary and intimidating if you have no clue as to what it is and what it does.

But you do need to be aware of this this technology can be used to steal your information. RFID scanners are now smaller and more inconspicuous then you care to think.

Remember the commercial showing the iPhone scanning a credit card? and todays cards have RFIDs embedded in them. All it can take is for a split second and you could be a pauper in a few seconds flat. Also this Technology can be used to track a lost pet with an embedded RFID. If you find a pet there might be an app that can read the chip and you can notify the vet or owner directly. How's that for cool?

Or, it can read an implanted RFID in humans as well.
Not so Cool.

Forget swapping the battery, you will need to get the same buttery that came with the device for a backup. Getting a third-party battery may make the NFC inoperable.
